Be part of the team that provides the “Vision Engine” serving as the core processing unit for all 1 inspection tools. By using groundbreaking technology both in hardware and software we can deliver the best performing algorithm and applications to all our customers. Since a few years we are also building up expertise within machine learning to further improve our capabilities to solve ambitious customer problems.
You will become responsible to work out new differentiating vision solutions running on our tools using powerful GPU/CPU hardware technology. Both in traditional machine vision solutions and in machine learning algorithms there is a growing need for using GPU’s to take care of the huge amount of camera image data and more sophisticated vision algorithm. You will help implementing these capabilities to support the high-speed inspection and metrology needs for our next generation tools.

Functie eisen
- You have a good understanding and practical experience with programming and profiling GPU code empowers you to support our customers to help solving their sophisticated and future challenges.
- Master’s degree in engineering or Computer Science. Two to three years demonstrated ability in GPU programming and code profiling is a must, but foremost we need your passion for technology, drive to make things work and learn every single day.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and practical hands-on C/C++ experience. Experience with Python for deep learning is a plus.
- Having knowledge and experience working in a Linux environment would help you to move forward.
- Eager to learn about new trends in software development and to experiment with new frameworks and Computer Vision packages.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Proficient in English.
Jouw belangrijkste taken:
01
Crafting and developing GPU/CPU software for new inspection challenges for all our product lines. Selecting accurate technologies, algorithm and frameworks based on requirements and available information from the customer.

Collaborating with other software teams on how new inspection flows can easily be validated and integrated in our inspection machines.
03
Support new hardware components (use of GPU, CXP frame grabber, HR camera’s).
04
Support our field engineers and APPs division with the whole process flow of working with the vision system and all our applications.
05
Occasional travel to connect with customers and to have firsthand insights.
